The Rotala Nanjenshan, though it is a popular aquarium plant there is little known about it in the wild. It was first introduced in Japan but is not native there and is not verified from origin and flowers obtained. Rotala Nanjenshan is a breathtaking small leafed plant that grows into a dense bush. This plant is best for the mid-ground of the aquarium because of the need for regular trimming. This plant does best in moderate light and supplemental CO2.
