The Monte Carlo Mat is a recommendable and interesting ground-covering plant. The rare plant was collected in North Argentine on a riverbank. The Monte Carlo Mat was named after the place where the Japanese found it in Micranthemum. The plant is also known by its other name “New Large Pearl Grass” and “Bacopita” in South America. This plant is similar to the Micranthemum umbrosum, it grows flat on the ground which forms a compact mat. The leaves are smaller and a darker green than the Micranthemum umbrosum.
